Offshore cast steel photovoltaic support grid

The current work offers a detailed comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of microgrids concerning the developments of photovoltaic (PV) production installed near the shore and those installed offshore. Since the construction of the offshore part of the project began in early July, the sea has become lively. The case study of the island of Lampedusa is then analyzed: starting from a single floating. . The present invention discloses an offshore photovoltaic support structure and an installation method thereof, the structure comprises a photovoltaic panel and a support system, the support system comprises a pipe pile, a grid, an operation and maintenance channel and a climbing frame. With its 300x300 m span, it has a capacity of up to 13. 5 MW and consists of almost 500 individual floaters.
